Could someone tell me how many different models of small round balers that were made. What would these be worth(high and low)depending on condition.

John; The rotobalers, while unique and handy don't bring much, in my area at least. I pick them up from free to $100. I have 10 a present, six work four are for parts. As previosly stated the belts and clutchs are very expensive today. The belts can be ordered from Gates and Goodyear. So unless it is in working order,or you REALLY want it, don't spend alot on it. I know where two more are here in Missouri, 1 in Monnett the other in Rolla that can be had $50 and they are in working order.

John, Thanks for your reply. I didn't fully understand what you meant. My phone # is 918-358-3137 and live in N.E. Oklahoma. I would be interested in these balers if you're not. Call me. collect if you want. Thanks

The first Rotobaler was built in 1941. In 1943 the first pilot run of 25 balers were built. The first production run of 3000 balers was built in 1947. The #10 Rotobaler with it's non stop feature was introduced in 1955. Roto baler production continued through 1964, and three runs of 800 each were built in 1971, 1973 and 1974. All together 77,200 standard and fastwrap rotobalers were built and 1500 #10 Rotobalers were produced. All the models are basically the same except for the #10, with some refinements.
High end value of a rotobaler is in the $500-$800 area and many are sold in the $50-$200 area. The belts are about $480 for a new set so that will often determine the value of the baler. All of this information came from Norm Swinfords book, "Allis-Chalmers Farm Equipment 1914-1985.
