I have a 1939 allis chalmers b and now i have this really werid noise when its running, i have now only heard it after i used a one botton plow and the belly mower. When the tractor is running it almost sounds like a miss without the pop, it kinda has a putt sound like a johny cause of the straight pipe, but in between the putts it has a extra sound, like its would be firing wrong or somthen, i dont know if anyone heard this with an ac, but if you did, please tell me how to fix it, i wanna use it for parade, and i dont want that sound, thanks to who all can help and read this.

Brian,
Check your fuel lines to make sure you are getting enough to your carb under a load. It sounds to me that your fine untill you load the tractor down. If it runs at idle without making the noise, and runs at high rpm's in neutral, check the fuel system for blockage.

might make sure you have a good quality spark plug of the right heat range. also, solid wire spark plug wires are better than carbon core. mine does the same think when cold untill the plugs warm up and start to "fire right" planning on getting a better pair soon.
