I have an Allis Ca that has a problem with running under any kind of a load. If i speed up the throttle it acts like it cant catch up and it wont if i dont touch the clutch. I was wondering what the problem might be. The tractor runs fine under no load.

Check fuel flow first from the fuel tank all the way through the carburetor. I would tell you to open the main jet a little but it's a fixed size on the CA carburetor. Check for dirt plugging the fuel tank outlet, the screen in the sediment bowl, in an in-line filter someone may have installed, or the main jet. All could cause the problem you describe.

I agree with DanD. Rust may be partially blocking the gas line in the fuel tank. Under a load the engine needs more fuel to maintain RPMS so I would suspect a fuel flow problem. The next would be the governor may not be opening up the carb to maintain the power needed for the load

Mike, I agree with Dan. Sounds like a fuel starvation problem under load. If the above checks out with the fuel system, maybe there's a problem with the govenor...
