I too searched for the Series 2 engine kit in the aftermarket with no luck. At the time Central Tractor did have a rebuilt short block for big money. They wanted to check the casting number from my block to be sure all was right and they discovered that it was not the 160 but the smaller bore. The tractor bears a D15 Series 2 serial number so somewhere along the line someone replaced the block! This was good for me cause I was able to purchase a complete Sealed Power rebuild kit for about $325 if I remember correctly. So check your casting number and be sure it really is the larger bore. You might get lucky! Or not, depending on your point of view??

Send www.internalengineparts.com an email and tell them what you have and they will get back with you. I got Perkins head gasket set from them, sent right to my door.

Not available from any aftermarket place I know of. Only source is AGCO. Go to their website and use their find dealer function if you don't know who your nearest dealer is. AGCO's engine kits are very reasonably priced anyway, although the 160 cid engine is expensive for its size. Also, check out the allischalmers website.

thanks fellows for all your help. I have been out of town. It is getting hard to find some of these tractor parts these days. The area i live in has long seen farming go away and the tractor dealers around here keep there business up with small stuff and lawn mowers so when you go in the store lookin for bigger older part they scatch there heads a little..
