I recently advertised a tractor on YT and received a response for a man in Cairo, Egypt. Wanted to give me an additional $200 if I would take a cashiers check for twice the amount I was asking from his brother-in-law in the States. I was to keep my part of the money, give the brother-in-law the difference ($5,000) who would then set up shipping. I told him to give me his full name and address and I would check with the FBI, Fraud Unit and if OK, I would selll to him. No Answer. I suspect strongly that he was trying to scam me.

How can you have such little faith in your fellow man? Jesus said if a man wants your shirt, give him your cloak as well ... as I wander around shivering in the encroaching autumnal gloom, you could reaffirm your faith in the brotherhood of man by sending me a long sleeve Pendelton shirt ... i'm rather fond of the Black Watch pattern ... XXLarge ... I will gladly pay you Tuesday for a Hamburger today ... god bless your gentle soul ..... . ok guru

Yes Clarence, That Nigerian and many others are operating this scam and several others. There is a lot of that type stuff coming out of Africa. I got one today from someone who claimed to be from a Bank in South Africa. You did the right thing, Delete it. Why would anyone want to pay you twice what your goods are worth? Just because you're you? A really nice guy who was so badly banged up when you fell off the turnip truck! Beware of Nigerians bearing gifts. Rich
