hyd. oil going into transmission

Larry, Steve is right. Could be cylinder needs work or hose could be busted if you are gaining oil in the transmission and losing it in the hydraulic compartment.If it is just mixing the PTO shaft seals (2 of them) could be bad between transmission and power director compartment. First problem not to bad. Drain tranny, unhook hydraulic lines to lift housing, remove PTO shaft,pull pin under right hand side of differintal housing, remove draw bar stuff and unbolt. Second problem, break between tranny and power director compartment. Probally need book for that one. HTHs. Dale

that happened to our D17 several years ago. The cylinder for the 3 pint hitch in inside the rear cover above the PTO shaft. the seal on the cylinder leaked and hydraulic goes into the trans. maybe the D15 is the same.
