Hi! Is there a trick to "draining" the final drives on a WD45? I didn't see a drain plug so I tried to drop the pan. It won't come off with the tractor's wheel on. Am I missing something or do I need to take a rear wheel off before I can change the final drive lube?

Thanks,

Nate

You gotta run the rear wheels out as wide as they go. On my WD I then need to tilt the "pans" slightly upwards(towards the axels) and they will drop out. When you put them back on I would suggest you only fill them about halfway with gear oil, otherwise it's gonna run all over. Then after installed fill to the plug hole.

Slide, power adjust, the rear wheels out to a wide position and it will be real easy. John
