I have a WD45 that has spark to the distributor but I can't get a spark from the plugs. The wires are good, new plugs, new battery, new rotor, new distr cap. What do I try next???

Gary, If you have spark at the points in the distributor, and not at the plugs, it's grounding out either in the cap, contact plate, junction block, wires or possibly a faulty condenser. Could even possibly be a bad cap even though new. Every once in a while we'll come across a bad cap with a bad high tension tower. Make sure you're not using resistor wires either. That's a no-no with these particular ignition systems. We build the correct wires for AC machines if you find it's a wire problem. HTH Good Luck! You'll find the problem.

Try putting the old distributor cap and rotor back on. Could be the wrong one. I have had parts out of the box be the wrong ones before even though the #'s on the box were the correct ones. Napa was where I had this problem. Sometimes the simple things are what get ya.

Hmmmmm mm..... Has the distributor been removed? Does she spark when the rotor hits a terminal?

It may be that the coil is not putting out enough force to get a spark at the plugs. Do the wires spark when shorted to the block?
