I am working on a model b for an older retired gentleman that started out farming with this tractor and as the heading states, it is getting water in the oil. Very little, a cup every few weeks. I dropped the pan and pressured the cooling system. The water was dripping off of the gears on the front of the engine. Where can and how does a water leak develop under the front engine cover? I have never ran into this before. Anybody else out there had a problem like this? Where exactly does it leak and how did you fix it?
Thanks

If there is a pin hole in a freeze plug in the top of the head under the rocker arms the water would come out the front of the engine. The oil that oils the rocker arms flows dow around the push rods and then flows out thru the opening behind the timing gear. As shown in the attached picture this opening is just above the cam bearing.

Thanks for the help, that was it for sure. Put a small inner tube on the radiator spout after plugging the overflow and pumped it up a bit with a bycycle tire pump and ther it was, easy to see.
Thanks Again
