What year is my tractor??

I have an Allis Chalmers D-15 with Serial # 3409D It has three point hitch, live power, traction control, power steering with white steering wheel. If you can help please let me hear from you.

1961 if the s/n is correct. It is located on the LH side of the torque tube where it bolts up to the engine and should read D15 XXXXX.

Eldon,,thank you very much for identifing my D-15 Serial # 3409D as a 1961 model. Do you think it is a series 1,2 or 3? The tractor is in good to excellent condition. What would be a fair price? thanks again Ken

Series II started in 1963 at s/n 13001. They have headlights on the fenders, an oval muffler, and a dry air filter....the gas engine cid was increased to 160 from 149. Diesel engines stayed the same. It also had taller fenders, wider decals and improved brakes. There was no Series III. $1500 to $3000??
