Went to look at D-19 tractor. It is a diesel and
narrow front. It has power steering and 3pt lift. Excellent metal and a 1 owner tractor. Tires are
poor. Is it rare(collectable)? What is a fair
price? Owner asking $2000.00 w a bush hog.

Sounds like a good price to me. Although if worked real hard they tend to blow head gaskets quite often (they can't seem to handle the excess pressure that turbo puts out). Also Turbo's can be quite expensive if it goes out. You can run one without the turbo but drops HP considerably and belches black smoke a lot. Other parts on the 19 can be quite expensive too. All in all they are a good riding tractor. I like the one we have around here. Even though it don't pull a 4 bottom plow no more it still comes in handy once in a while. LOVE THE SOUND OF THAT TURBO !!!!

Price seems very reasonable, but they have a reputation for cracking heads.

Well worth it if it runs well and the 3pt is factory. They can be cold blooded....but should start without ether in the summer. Motor overhaul can get expensive...check tranny in 2nd and 3rd for popping out of gear under load or going down hill. Turbo should have a nice whine to it as it spools up....some black smoke is normal under load.
