I posted this a couple years ago but maybe somebody new can tell me. Did Allis ever make a "match special" plow?
If you don't know what a plowing match is feel free to post a question. If you do know what a plowing match is and have one of those books with everything ever made by Allis please let me know.

I have asked on the web for a couple of years now and noone seems to know

i dont think they made any match plows in ac s hey day. i believe most just used stock plows back then. now that all sports have gone bigtime there is more speciallized equipment and effort going into these things. i know kvernland i believe that is correct makes specialised plows for match plowing now.but that is the best guess i have from watching this too. i have looked since you posted before about these match plows. good luck!

I purchased a 376 page book late last year from Barns & Nobles called Allis-Chalmers Farm Equipment 1914-1985. To quote a sentance from the back cover "It is rich with data that compliments a vast spread of carefully selected photographs and illustrations." I've read through it as well as looked at the pictures many times. There are numerous pictures of implements made for the many differrent tractors made by Allis Chalmers. The author is Norm Swinford and the Library of Congress Card Number is 94-072224. Maybe this will help you find what you are looking for. The book does not have a Table of Contents in the back. I think I paid about $20+ for it. --JPM
