I recently "thought" I made a purchase for a flat spoke F&H type steering wheel for my 1935 AC-WC from Rodney Armstrong of Kinmundy, ILL. I sent him a check over a month ago, which he cashed, and have never received the steering wheel. He will no longer answer my messages. I posted the ad on the classified board looking for a flat spoke steering wheel. I never thought a fellow tractor guy would rip me off. Please be cautious of purchasing anything from Rodney or others over the internet!

I bought a rerimed set of front round spokes from Rodney Armstrong.I gave him 900.00 and never recieved my rims or my money .Rodney has since made his phone an unlisted number as well as changing his cell.His father agreed to refund my money and to this day I have not recieved it,his number also has gone to unlisted .The apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

It is important to follow up on this. Everyone must know that this will not be allowed.
Is his address 6801 Armstrong Road or is it 402 N. Eagan? I have phone numbers for both, through an internet search. Perhaps they are relatives of Rodney and can help by either explaining why Rodney hasn't been able to live up to his commitment or perhaps they can convince Rodney to do the right thing.

If you used the Postal service for the check then I think what he has done is commit mail fraud, which is a felony. The postal service takes this very serious. You might talk the Attorney Gen. of your state and the USPS
