Gas 180 starvin for fuel

I/we have had updraft carb off a dozen times shes clean as a whisle. we by passed the fuel pump to try to eliminate it to no avail. I'm just wonderin if the wrong needle and seat could be installed in carb. what would be a way to check without buyin a new one

I don't know what carb you got on the 180, but I had one on my WD that drove me nuts and it turned out to be a little jet at the very bottom of the bowl was plugged, had that carb apart 4 or 5 times before I found that jet. One other thing you might check is for a vaccum leak, ie cracked manifold or bad gasket.

have tried changing float setting plus and minus have done compression check timming new wires plugs,points,cap,rotor,condenser and checked fireing order to make sure I did'nt have two wires mixed up but can,t get it to run without the choke on even went so far to drain the tank and make sure no obstructions and of coarse new gas filter and sceeen at sediment bowl is also clean. I have never had an updraft throw me for such a loop
