Our 52 CA develops a miss when a load is applied, such as going up a hill.
Any ideas?

Also one brake pedal retension spring broke and our local dealer can't locate one. Any leads?

Id agree and say its the plugs. I would try autolites. I wouldnt say champions are no good for every engine though, a guy can have the same two identical engines, and one will like a plug and the other one wont. Make sure the plugs you buy no matter what brand are in the BOX. There are "fly by night" imatations that you buy at K-mart in the sealed plastics that are junk. Terry

Tyler said Autolite 295 is the new standard number, I have not checked it out but would guess he would not of said it if it was not right.

IF you have champian plugs in it, toss them as far as possible, no matter how new, the CA doesn't like them at all. Just my experence of a CA, for last 50+ years.

The miss is most likely a week plug. Any parts you night can be obtained from Roger VanCamp.

Was at Roger's place last night and he said during the week to call in the evening and let it ring. Also if you leave a message he will call you back. 260-747-3455. Heck of a nice guy to do business with.

phone 260-747-3455 but you will have to contact him in the first part of the week. He will be set up at shows on weekends. Most of the time that includes Fridays.

Also anyone have any info on adding the 3 point hitch? I have seen some on the web for around $355.
The CA has just the base arms, no snap coupler.
