AC model B setting valves?

What is the correct valve settings? would like to set the valves so to diagnose running problems??

Tappet clearance is .010 hot. Hope this helps. I usually add a couple thousandths cold and do final adjustment hot.

It is safe to adjust your valves at .012" cold. Old iron grows when hot just like everything else.
Final adjustment hot (normal operating temperature 163*-180*) at .010" just to be sure.
