I have a 1955 WD-45 that floods out when I start it up. I want to make sure the float level is correct (I think that's the problem, lots of gas pours out), and to adjust the jets. I have the carb off now (it's the MS 464 model). If someone would take the time to explain the correct procedure to set the float level and adjust the jets, I would sure appreciate it. Thanks, Ronnie

turn the top half of the carb over so the float is facing up. With the gasket on, set the float so the now top of it (actually bottom) is 1/4" above the gasket. This should get you where you need.

Also, make sure that there is no gas in the float. If they get a pin hole in them, they won't float.
