I am restoring a 1949 Allis G that had some parts missing. On the oil filter base there is a elbow for an oil line. Where should this oil line go to? Thanks for your replys.

I think you will find that it goes from that fitting toward the seat and around to the other side of the block where the oil gage screws into a tee fitting that screws into the block.

Dick L Thanks for the info. that makes sense.With all of the fittings and lines missing I wasn't sure.I should have this G running by the weekend.

Two weeks ago about mine. I have to get the starter back from rebuild yet. It is up in Ohio an I am stuck down here in Oklahoma. I have the rear engine cover and hood in primer. All the rest is painted.

i need a oil tube that goes from the oil pump down to the screen,or how long should it be?
