All functions work but will only lift about 100lbs. Makes rattle like noise when lifting but could be normal - never had a b with a pump before. Who rebuilds these?

With your tractor off, remove the relief valve plug. This is located on the top of your pump close to the the outlet port. There are 3 plugs on top of your pump, this is the odd one and the other 2 are similar and look alike. There is an insert in this hole that should be set 9/16" below the top of the hole. If it is less then that, the pump will relieve pressure too soon and I'm guessing that is the rattling noise you hear, and the reason for your lack of pressue. Take a 3/8" bolt with a nut threaded on it 9/16" from the end and tap the insert into place, the nut will set your depth. You may want to do this incrementally and periodically check for operation. Good luck.

AGCO used to sell rebuilds, have heard TISCO and maybe NAPA and special order at TSC.

Before you drop $250 on a pump drop$50 on a pressure gage and hose and be sure that is the problem. Also chek the cam that drives the pump (on the PTO shaft) - the last 2 I've seen have been badly worn and unable to drive the plungers fully.

Could it be air bound? Do you have enough oil in the transmission for it to be drawing? Is the oil too thick, 90 weight gear oil is too thick , it needs to be "tractor lube", a "one oil fits all" oil.
