I have just traded for a B Allis it ran so smooth started quickly and now I have a problemI killed it now it won't start it turns over ,has gas ,has fire , points are good ,coil changed fires at the plug but engine turns as tho it has no compression but checking all have 100 to 120 lbs rocker arms are working, clearance good .what do you guys think?? I need all the help I can get. Thanks Rod

Sounds like you need to check the timing. If it's not hitting near TDC, it can act like that.

Also, try putting your hand over the exhaust pipe and feel for pressure coming out and at the carberator intake, feel for suction. If it's sucking gas/air and you have compression and the spark is near TDC, that engine should start.

One more thing... firing order on an AC-B is different than International tractors. The correct firing order for an Allis is 1,2,4,3.

I would guess a leaking manifold. Try squirting some gas in the cylinders to see if it fires. If it does, you're probably not getting fuel/air mixture into the cylinders. Duey
