Anyone know of a good source for engine rebuild parts for an Allis Chalmers HD6 crawler with the Allis 344 diesel ca. 1956? I'd like to get sleeves, pistons, rings, gaskets, etc.

John
I don't know if you still need parts for 344 engine but I have a reground crank with new Bearings, Piston Rings, and all internal engine parts for an HD-6e that was taken apart in 1988 for overhaul and never put back together , rest of machine has since been parted out, located in Southern Michigan

Give this place a call. NO.1 Performance,1775 South Redwood Road, Salt Lake City, Utah 84104, Phone # 1-800-453-8259, FAX 801-975-9653. I called them a while ago about sleeve kits for an HD 3 diesel and he gave me a good price. I'll try to dredge up a few more places for you to call. Good Luck, Phil
