I have a 36 UC that has not ran since the mid 60's. Just went through the motor and drive. Runs great. Getting ready to paint today and put new tires on, should be done in a couple weeks Can't wait for the county fairs to show it off this summer

Jim, I grew up on a farm in eastern Indiana and we owned one. It was a 37 or 38 as I recall. This was in the late fifties, early sixties. It was a brute of a tractor in those days. Sure pulled a 3-16's plow in the heavy clay soils we had without any trouble. It would lug down under a really heavy load to the point that you could count the fan blades, but still kept going. I don't ever remember actually killing the engine under load. What a work horse. Only problem it had was it would break a valve which would go through the piston. Happened a couple of times. Thanks for bringing back the great memories and times. PS> no electric or lights but had a curved straight pipe for a muffler and at night it and the manifold would glow cherry red, enough to be able to easily see for plowing or disking.

When I was a youngster i remember a neighbor having one of those for his thresh machine. He went and got our little C and parked it along side his UC. Gad, sure wish a picture could have been taken than. Haven't seen one like hobby workin for a long time except parked at a show. If I were money loaded I would like one, course I don't know where I could park it The Mrs would find it eventally.
