I've got a D14 with a 3 point conversion. It pulls great, but gets very light in the front with 3 point implement raised, making for some hair-raising turns. The machine didn't have any front weights when I purchased it. What's the best way to mount front weight on a D14?

I'm always amazed at the strength of my D-14 arms. My Farmhand trip-bucket loader has it's own 'frame' that bolts to the D-14's frame and wraps around the front. (see picture) With the loader on, there is plenty of weight. For field work, I take off the loader but leave the loader's frame bolted on and attach a rock box to the protion of the frame crossing the front. There is usually enough weight from that frame and the rocks and chains I usually have in the rock box. You could build just a frame like the Farmhand's and hang weights on it (I could send better pictures if you want.) I prefer the rock box since it is also handy. Notice I even have two helpers to jump off and pick up the rocks.
