Need info on value and things to look for on a 1962 AC D15 NF factory LPG - s/n of tractor is D15-7578 as best we can make out. It has High/Low range on hand clutch and is generally a pretty straight tractor with 3 point, but paint is faded. Everything seems to work well and seems pretty much original. Runs like a bat out of Heck and oil was real clean - but I'm told that is pretty normal for LPG.

check the gears to see if it jumps out of any pulling or holding, 3rd gear is the one that most offen wears the gear teath off from not stoping the tractor to change gears. 2000-2500 is a common price.

3rd gear and transmission seem fine, but power director seems to be a problem. In fwd position, it flies - all gears fine. But in clutch position it still runs slow in lower gears as it does in low range but not in higher gears.

Thanks for reply - haven't had a chance to check out 3rd gear yet, but it does sometines have problems with putting it in gear using the foot clutch even when tractor is just started and has not moved. But if you double clutch, it goes in fine on the second try. I'm guessing throw out bearing or clutch adjustment. Any issues on LPG - there were very few D15's on LPG - less than 100 I believe?
