D14 Cyl Head Torque

Anyone know what the head bolts on a D14 should be torqued to?

I'm replacing my head and my manual doesn't give this vital piece of info. The WD 45 section of the book says 90 ft lbs, but I think that is too high. I was shooting for 60 but thought I'd go higher and broke a bolt at 75 today. Should'a asked yesterday.

My book says the D14 is torqued to 80-85 ft lbs, but does not give the bolt diameater.
It list the D17 as 90-95 ft lbs for the 1/2 icnh studs and 70-75 ft lbs for the 7/16 studs.

I checked also at the old AC dealer when I picked up parts today. I got it tight at 80 ft lbs without breaking a bolt, I'll leave it there until I get it broken in some and retighten. Now to get the carb to deliver gas so it runsmore than a few seconsd, but that is another message thread.
