I'm restoring a '38 B and looking for an "L" fitting where the line from the pump feeds the head.

In 1938, AC didn't oil the govenor directly so they didn't use a "T" like I have a couple of.

The h/w stores have the fitting I need but they look square cut and very new. I'm looking for an older casting with a more rounded look.

If you find one of these in your parts can, I'd be grateful. Thanks

I'll look this evening. I know I have a spare Tee fitting, there might be an Ell in one of them boxes. If you can't find one, you might try taking a file or Dremel to the hardware store fitting, using a Tee for a "style guide". If you don't have the Tee you can have one of mine.

Thanks BF. I have a Tee but (pardon this, I can't resist) I need to go to 'L'.

If Terry was more like Mrs Fred, she would have explained that to you long ago. I got busy with a honeydew last night, and didn't find an Ell in the shop. I'll have time to check in the shed (where I put all the extra parts) this evening.
