I tried to post this yesterday but it appeards to have not taken. What is a 618 and is it a good machine, strengths weaknesses ect. I have never heard of them. I have a shot at one for 10,500 1980 with 2300 hrs and new dealer rebuilt engine. 2300 seems low to blow an engine though? Any input???? Thanx

i had a I-60 (long ago)
i looked at an 816 (briefly)
it had possibilities until AC croaked
recommendation:keep looking,a little more money
will get you a current brand that people know how to fix and new and used parts are available

Thanx brutus. I was starting to get the idea that the machine was sort of an orpan. One thing I don't need is something that I can't find parts for. Thanx again.
