Ive got an Allis WD that ive been working on in school for a shop project. I have the wiring diagrams for the original setup but ive got problems. The cut out switch was bad so i went to the dealer and got the repklacement which is really a regulator. So im takin out the resistance light switch and putting in just a regular switch but my wiring is not working. The regulator that they gave me has three prongs marked F, Gen, and Bat. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

i put a voltage regulator on my B with a 12 volt negative ground generator. I will send yuou a diagram. You need to know you have a positive or negative ground regulator (and system) Basically the "F" on the generator goes to the "F" on the regulator. THe "A" on the generator goes to the "G" on the regulator. The B on the regulator goes to the battery "hot" terminal, which ever is not grounded. Then you touch a jumper from B to G terminals to polarize the system, then startup the motor and chekc charge. Do not connect any wire from the generator to the light switch. If you need more help, send me a note.
