What is the horsepower rating on a D-14. What, if any, are the design weak points for this model? Thanks!

If they were used for a lot of heavy work like plowing, second gear could wear out. It's always a good idea to drive a used tractor in all gears before buying. It is is a wide front check the clearance between the top of the axle front pivot and the bottom of the steering arm that the tie rods attach to. If the axle pivot is worn enough that clearance can disappear making it hard to steer.

About 34 PTO and 31 drawbar HP. Don't know of any "weak areas". We have a D17. As far as I know the D14 is a good tractor. Some D14 owners out there will give you first hand info, I'm sure.
