Bought an a/c 7580 this spring, good tractor, dads leasing it for the cost of any repairs, but has the large 1000 rpm pto shaft. same motor/rearend as a/c 7080 tractor, but articulated, if the small 1000 shaft was made for these and it can be found, is it much of an operation to change it? Any info please email me, truckdriver and dont get back here before these move into archives and can't find those, thanks

Just get an adapter, big shaft to smaller shaft,there kinda pricy, should be able to find at farm stores or local dealerships, we ran this combo and still do, it will afect drawbar in and out setting,,,,Bill

thanks, we thought of this, werent sure how it would hold up if we needed to run the chopper with it, sure should be ok for stationary work. bought it with all 4 duals but not putting them on, it sure will pull a set of plows.
