If you do not mind drilling a small hole in your mag, you can hot wire your mag with a wire from the battery, I have one on a WC but I would have to look at it before I could advise on how to do it.

I just had my 48 C mag apart today. It had the coil conversion. A hole was drilled in the side of the main mag housing and the coil wire is attached to the rod that extends from the cap of the mag. Mine had come off and I didn't have any spark. The coil is mounted on top of the valve cover. The + terminal goes to the mag and the - goes to the switch.
