I recently purchased a wd-45. Mostly just to have it but I would like to play with it a bit and put in a few wildlife plots. I was wondering what size plow would work best with this tractor. I have acces to a 3-16 allis plow but am wondering if it will pull it thanks NATE

It will work fine unless, as mentioned by Doug, the soil is heavy and you are plowing sod. We used to pull 3/16's in NE Ohio in clover and alfalfa okay. As Doug also said you can remove the center bottom and move the rear one up and plow with two if you get lugged down too much. Assuming an AC snap coupler plow that is. We plowed wide open in 2nd in the heavy stuff.

We pulled 3-16's back in the WI loam when I was a kid. Unless you have a combination of heavy loam, alfalfa or some other thick-rooted plant, and steeper hills, you shouldn't have any trouble. I'd still get the 3-16's. If it is too much, take one of the bottoms off - it's easily done.
