hi when i put my tractor into gear for somereason when i let the foot clutch it takes off for about 5 feet then stops then i half to use the wet clutch there after

Not sure just what you are doing, but if the wet clutch is out, that is disengaged, the thick oil can make it drag, like it is partially engaged, you will go a ways until the oil lets go. After it warms up it will work normally. Also this same situation can make it hard or impossible to get into gear using the wet clutch, you must use the dry, foot clutch, to put it into gear. After it is in gear you can start with the hand clutch if you want and soon the oil will warm up enough to act normally.
