I have an Allis B-1939, and it has an oil bath air cleaner, how full do I fill the bowl, it has a reservoir inside the reservoir, do I fill the outer reservoir only or both the inner and outer??? Thanks again for all your help. Muffy

The OPERATOR manual has all of the details for this , as well as many other important things you need to know to own a good tractor.

Good question. I am curious about that too. I just recently serviced mine and re-filled the whole reservoir to ring indicated on outside of cup. Now when I stop the engine off oil leaks out of the cup and I'm wondering if I've made a mistake and if so how it should be filled.....
Any help out there?

Usually you fill both inner and outer "rings" as you call them, up to the top of the inner ring wall. On the AC's I have tah is usually filling them up to a kind of lip or ring pressed in the cup outer wall. I don't remember where that is on my WD 45, but on the B / C / CA it's very obvious. On them I think the level is approximately 1/2 inch down from the top lip of the cup (maybe a little more or a little less). Hope that helps.
