While I'm posting messages tonight, anyone know of shuttle gears that will fit a D17 Series IV ?
Is the main torquetube configured to use them without any modifications?
Thnx Gatz

I believe you are referring to the shuttle clutch, which gives forward and reverse, instead of the hi-lo with the Power Director (hand clutch). Shuttle clutch was on the industrial version of the D17, as in fork lifts. I believe the housing is the same, the only difference is the content of the housing.

Correct, JMS; I was referring to the "hand clutch" and yes, if you have a shuttle clutch, you no longer have the high-low, as the rear position of the PD lever is then used for reversing gears. Does anyone know of a parted-out Industrial D17? What was the model designation of these?
Thnx again , Gatz

Our local salvage yard has at least one, maybe two 'inactive for several years' AC forklifts based on the D17 tractor. Owner is now in hopsital, I've talked to him years ago about selling it. They just sit there.
