I am not completely understanding your question. Are you wanting to preserve the tractor in its current condition? You want to halt the rusting with out removing the rust and the paint? Leaving the tractor in a used looking condition? If this is the case and the rust is not crumbly I suggest coating the tractor with WD-40 spray . This will stop the rust and improve the condition of the existing paint. The WD-40 will have to be reapplied periodically.

Chris you are wright, the prospect is to leave this AC in what we call in a Museum "the last stage" in the life of the object. My question is will WD 40 spray attack the paint or anything on the tractor once it will have been put on it ? Could you give me the entire name and the name of the factory or company which is making this product? thanks for all Pierre.

I have an allis b tractor and as of yet have done nothing with it other than run it. I'm sorry I can't help with your tractor.
I do have a question in regards to the "overseas" tractors. I have a book that is written with pictures of most tractors from I believe England. They have allis b and c tractors pictured. My question is on the side with the oil filter mounted just above the filter in the sheet metal are three bolts. They are in the shape of a triangle and are holding something under the hood. I do not have them on the tractor I have, or on any one I have seen in the states. I thank you for your time. ED

ed, The bolts in the shape of a triangle are for a gasoline starting tank for the dual fuel (kerosene or distillate) engine. You started the engine on gas and after the engine got up to operating temperature you switched it over to kerosene. I have a 1941 US C that has the dual fuel engine and it still has the hood with the holes for the starting tank. Hope this helps, TractorMike

What did the us do just use the gas only? At the pump price today maybe we should go back to kerosene. ED

dear Ed
i'm not clever enought in AC "B" to answer right now to your question but 'ill do my best and ask a mecanician in a tractor museum. all i know is that most of our "french" AC where coming from canada and gb after 1951 and before straight from the states.
