Did all WD45's come with spin out rear wheels or were plain pressed steel rims/wheels available from the factory? What rear tire sizes were available from the factory? I am trying to help a pulling friend get his 45 down to the next class. Local rules dictate that standard or factory optional rims/wheels be used.

Tahnk you,
A.P.

To my knowledge all 45's had spinouts. My dad and I pull 45's too he pulls 4500 to 6000 and I pull 3500 to 6000. He has 14.9-28's loaded. To get the weight down I bought a set of 14.9-26 wheels and tires off an Allis combine. There the same height as my 13.6-28's but wider. What options does the tractor have? power steering? Taking off the 3-point or snap coupler arms will shed a good bit. With spinouts i can just barley get to 3500 with me (150lbs) on it. I also have factory power steering.
