I recently bought this tractor. The guy said it was a ca but I think it is a c. The only serial# I can get off it is 75830 in this order and this is off the transmission in front of the shifter but I cant find it in any of the b,c,or ca serial# lists. PLEASE HELP

Unless someone changed something a C has a 3 speed trans and the CA models have a 4 speed trans. Also the CA has floor pan sheet metal on and around the rear housing where the C does not.

The easy way to tell a C from a CA is the rear wheels. The CA has a six bolt lug pattern the power adjust rims. The C had a five bolt pattern and standard rims

looks like a 49 c. also, a ca will have a 4 spd trans, a hand clutch, and a pan seat; the c will have a 3 spd trans, no hand clutch, and a bench seat; also there were only 40 some thousand ca's made. serial number won't go that high. alan
