is it possible to convert a 12 volt positive ground to a negative ground.
so i can use it with my corn planter.and how much to you think that will
cost me

Why do you want to change it? If the generator is shot I can see the reason to change, switching to an alternator. If the generator works, there is no reason to change.
If you do change to negative ground, switch to an alternator at the same time. Bob Melville has posted an excellent article on how to change over to an alternator over in the Research & Info section on the left side of the page.

Duh! Now I see why you want to change. Yes, and it's easy. Reverse the battery. Reverse the leads on the ammeter. Repolarize the generator.
