Thanks in advance, Jeff

Try your local NAPA I have had good luck getting Zenith carb kits from them.

I found it was easier and cheaper to just take the carb to a local carburation shop and have them rebuild it. Much better job than I could have done and cheaper than than the prices I was seeing for kits.

Carb kits aren't hard to do, provided you blow out all passage ways in the castings with compressed air. Don't use fishing line. If there are blocked passages in the carb fishing line won't remove it all. Also, don't try to stick anything sharp metal or otherwise into any passages. Soaking to clean is best, but sprays will do the job. Cleanliness is Godliness when reassembling. If your carb has lots of hard deposits in the bowl, here is a trick I found to work very well, with the main needle in place, fill the bowl with fresh battery acid. This will take almost anything out of the bowl that doesn't belong there. It doesn't take long, about 15 to 20 minutes. Acid can be had at NAPA. Follow the instructions in the kit. NAPA is a good place, or CT Farm and Country, TSC stores, or even this website's store has them. Nothing like the satisfaction of doing it yourself. Let us know how you come out, or e-mail me if you need more help. Brian

P.S. I've been ASE Certified in engine performance for the past 10 years. Good luck.

Give this one a try. alschlmers @ aol.com. Every now and then I get it misspelled. I'm usually online Tuesday afternoon Thursday evenings and sporatically on the weekends. Brian
