How do I fit my Lucas SR4 magneto to my B??

I'm 16 and me and my brother have been given a 1951 english made allis b. I knew the mag was the problem as the engine had been reconditioned. I bought a reconditioned mag but me and my dad have no idea how to fit it. How do i time the mag with the engine, and what wire goes where. The mag is producing plenty of electricity as my arm has found out!!!! Please help me. I would like to have it running by easter to surprise my brother who is away at university. Firstly You need to bring No 1 Cylinder upto Top Dead Centre (TDC).No1 is first cylinder behind the radiator.If you look on the left hand side of the B you'll see a hole through which you can see the flywheel rotating. Turn the starting handle EXTREMELY slowly with somebody looking into the hole looking for the word "FIRE" stamped into the metal.Failing this hold your thumb over No1 plug hole untill you feel pressure rising,then check for the FIRE word on your flywheel.
Next take your mag and line up the rotor arm facing to the top left hand side of the casing,facing the engine.No1 plug lead is the one at the 11 0 clock position with no2 next(Top Right) next lead MUST go to No4 Plug (Bottom right)with the last lead going to No3. Firing order 1,2,4,3. A word caution B's are notrious for kicking!! If using a starting handle always lay your thumb over the handle not round it.It's a great sound when they fire and run for the first time for you.
