My WD goes 3450# with me on it and I'm only 175 lbs. There are many factors that shift it each way but usually they pull in 3500# class easily. A Gleanor E motor is not the same as a WD45, Its a D-17. They also weigh about 60lbs more than a WD motor and were a stronger block. I've got 2 Gleanor motors and I give $500.00 for a whole combine that was running and I bought a motor for $200.00 running. They are worth the $900.00 but theres always deals to be found. A lot of farmers just want to get rid of there heaps laying around and the motors are usually pretty tight cuz they were only used at certain times of the year. I would do some shopping if it me.

The gleaner (E) motor was a 226 ci. same as the WD45, D17 , 170. It may have a feul pump on it I think that is the only differents. Price sounds fair for a WD(45).

My WD weighs in at about 3800 pounds with no fluid in the tires and one AC wheel weight on each rear wheel. Gleaner engines were used on AC combines to the best of my knowledge and (I think) are a WD engine.
