I am reboring my G Tractor. I believe it will be 30 over. I have found pistons available but they are from Taiwan. I was hoping to find USA pistons but on luck so far. Any one rebuilt a G lately? Or has piston advice for this small continental engine..Tanks, Mark

Gordon: I believe their pistons are from Taiwan, which may be great. I just wondered if foreign piston metal was up to specs. All in all, I have been enjoying the search...Thanks for the help..Mark

I LIKE WHAT YOU SAID. "I'M ENJOYING THE SEARCH".
I ALWAYS SAY "WHAT FUN IS IT TO WORK ON A TRACTOR WHERE YOU CAN GO TO THE DEALER AND GET ORIGINAL PART LIKE THOSE GREEN ONES"
HAVE FUN, ENJOY YOUR TRACTORS AND WORKING ON THEM, WHAT COULD BE BETTER. THEY DON'T TALK BACK. THEY DON'T HAVE TO BE FED ALL YEAR. THEY DON'T ASK FOR ANYTHING, WHEN YOU GET TIRED OF THEM YOU CAN WALK AWAY AND NOTHING COMES FLYING AT YOU.

I located two sets of 0.020 and 0.030 oversize pistons, pins and rings for this engine several weeks ago for $ 160.00 per set. I did not check on the country of origin.
