I came across an old ad from Wico that said 'why fix your original mag when you can replace it with a genuine wico' so I was wondering if anyone has a list of what magnetos are interchangeable. I currently have an FM x but would like to know what other FM's or Wico's might fit my AC mod B.

Mike,
I rebuild Wico & Fairbanks mags. There are a few different part #'s for F/M mags that will fit your B model. The most popular is the FMJ4B3 or 4B3A. The FMX series is the revised version of the "J" series mag from Fairbanks. Also in Wico, some of the "XH" series are very similar to the F/M's and some are direct replacements. I have completely rebuilt F/M's available on exchange if you need one. I also have a couple Wico XH series on the mag bench, but they're not done yet. Drop me a line if ya need more info.
