A neighbor recently passed away and he had lots of allis equipment for his WD and D17. much of it has been outside for 5 years or so. roto baler, snap coupler disk, snap coupler spin plow, old forage harvester, maybe a field cultivator and sub soiler. are these items valuable? should i try to buy them from the widow and get them out to collectors/farmers lioke yourselves? i imagine these items cant be worth more that 500 total. what do you think i shoulfd do? (i think the tractors have been sold)

Check imp dealers in your area. A fair price will make you feel far better than taking advantage of her. Fair is always the right way even if it is painful. In our part of the USA N.E. Iowa many of those items are worth $500.00 each depending on their condition.

I think you outa buy all of that equipment. It would be a great edition to an Allis collection restored or a great edition to your wallet restored AND sold!

If you offer her $500 for the works it probably isn't too fair to her....just my opinion.
