First, put away the WD-40 and get some PB Blaster (Wal-Mart). WD-40 is not a penetrating oil, even though it claims to be. PB Blaster is a real penetrating oil and will work wonders compared to WD-40.
Next, get a real Acetelyene torch. A propane torch won't do much of anything for rusted together parts. The only alternative to acetelyene is Mapp gas. This gives a much hotter flame than propane and can be gotten in the same cylinders as propane at plumbing supply stores (not hardware stores or home centers). Find one in the Yellow Pages.
With real penetrant and LOTS of heat they will usually come out and apart.
