Changing gear lube in WD

Thanks for the help guys. Got the WD inside and thawed out. Now I want to chage gear lube. Looks like 2 drain plugs? Any thing else I should know about? Thanks for the help

Plugs are located on bottom of tranny and bottom of differential. You need to drain the PTO housing also (seperate plug) Would not hurt to drain hyd system eithe, plug on bottom of sump, it is magnetic and neeeds to be wiped off and you also need to drain the pump housing.

As the man says" Invest in the manual/manuals!!

All the pertinent info you need is in the OPERATOR manual- great investment in how to take care of a good tractor.

And don't forget the repair manual, much more detailed. And if you see a parts book get it too, very usefull.You can learn as much from reading a parts manual as from theother books I think. And don't forget the poor final drives, most don't ever change the oil in them and it can be really BAD after 25 or 40 years.
