Can anyone tell me about the tractor show at Galesburg,IL. Feb.8th and 9th. I am thinking about going if the weather is not bad. Just wanted to hear from someone that has been there before. It is indoors and it says expecting over 100 tractors. Might drag a couple of mine along. Thanks Dave.

Dave, where are you from? I live in Galesburg and have attended the show at the mall, it draws quite a crowd! I think you need to be a member of the Maple City club to show your tractor (insurance reasons). Dues are $20. Also the mall is picky about any oil drips and the tires have to be on carpet or something so as to not ruin the floor. If you are still interested, let me know and I'll get you a phone number. It is a GREAT way to spend a cold, blustery weekend. Jim T

Jim: We contacted a fellow from the show yesterday andgot all of the information that we needed. We are from the Kansas City, Mo area. I am getting tractor show withdrawals so I think we may attend. Thanks for the information I will bring cardboard and carpet pieces with me. Dave.

Dave, You must have tractor fever REALLY bad. That is a long way to bring a tractor in the middle of winter. What tractor will you bring, so I can find you? If you don't already have it, the web page for the club is www. maplecitytractors.com The announcement was in tonight's paper. Have a safe trip and I hope to see you there. Jim T

Jim:I havn't really decided yet, If the weather is really nice I may bring two. It will probably be a 46B and a48G or I might even bring a D-15 series2. If the weather looks iffy I may just bring one of the small ones in an enclosed trailer. To tell you how much we like tractor shows, we missed 3 weekends last summer, we went somewhere almost every weekend. See you there. Dave.
