Zenith K problems

Have a "U" with a Zenith K, runs well but basicly the idle screw does nothing to effect the running of the engine, infact you could take it right out if you wanted, presume its a blocked passage,is there a fundemental passage that gets blocked or isnt it that responsive as a rule! nigelB

u may try blowing compressed air through the passage with the idle screw removed it may be blocked or check to see if your throttle shaft is loose letting air in around it
