JUST WONDERING IF ANYONE KNEW IF THE XT190 WAS EVER AVAILABLE WITH THE 1000RPM PTO OR JUST THE 540. I HAVE A 1967 MODEL XT190 WITH JUST THE 540 RPM PTO,COULD IT BE CONVERTED TO A 1000RPM TO RUN A DISCBINE MOWER. THANKS

I think you could use parts from a salvage 200 and have both 540 and 1000 PTO.

According to my service manual these were available with 1000 RPM PTO. To change it over you'd need to change gears and pto shaft. Not like the newer ones where you could pull the pto stub shaft, turn it around, reinstall and have 1000RPM.

early 190xt had pto shaft that ran to front of tran and can't be changed like the later ones. Look for a discbine that runs on 540 my deere 1327 works fine
